Wolf Hollow, Est. 1983
Deer Enclosure
Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
- New Fawn Enclosure
- Each year we rehabilitate several deer fawns that have been orphaned when their mother is killed by a car or dogs, or the fawn itself is injured. They are usually with us for ~six months and at each stage of their care, from tiny spotted week-old fawns to strong young deer, they need the appropriate type of housing. Our existing fawn pen and deer enclosure were some of the first enclosures to be built after Wolf Hollow moved to its current site in 1987. They were beginning to show their age, and needed extensive repair, so we decided instead to build a new facility for fawn rehabilitation.
- Fawn Barn
- with several individual stalls, for very young fawns.
- Fawn Pen
- for the next stage of their care.
- Deer Enclosure
- One-acre Deer Enclosure for the final stage prior to release.
