Chanda Stone
Executive Director
Chanda Stone is the Executive Director at Wolf Hollow Wildlife Rehabilitation Center where her expertise and leadership has had a positive impact on the center over the past seven years. From an early age, she wanted to plant trees and assist wildlife. Chanda has a Bachelors and a Master’s degree in Geography, focusing on urban forestry, wildlife habitats, and environmental restoration. She was a Wetlands Rehabilitation Manager in Oregon, and Arborist in Saudi Arabia, before her move to San Juan Island in 2017. As the Executive Director, her mission is to develop sustainable funding for the center, educate the public on the importance of living in harmony with our wild neighbors, and conduct research projects that further our understanding of the natural world we live in. Chanda’s favorite part of her dynamic position is having the opportunity to talk about wildlife to visitors to the islands.
