Hadley is a graduate of CSU Channel Islands with a degree in Biology and a background in environmental science resource management. Through CSUCI Hadley participated in restoration work through the National Park Service and conducted research under the Keiki Kohola Project in Maui, studying coral reef quality, microplastics, and humpback whale mother and calf behavior. She also interned with Cascadia Research Collective, focusing on photo identification, necropsies, and population counts of West Coast cetacean and pinniped species.

Since moving to the Pacific Northwest in 2022, Hadley has coordinated a number of education, community science, and stewardship programs across the Puget Sound. She has a knack for strengthening community partnerships, and focuses on providing all- ages educational experiences that are accessible to all. With an undeniable passion for conservation, Hadley has spent many years working in wildlife medicine as a vet tech in sanctuary, veterinary, and rehabilitation settings with land and marine species of all sizes. She looks forward to lending a hand in the hospital, leading the education team, and building her knowledge on the natural history of local species here in the San Juan Islands.
